Our Vibe
Our vibe is part of our brand, and is what keeps clients coming back for more. How we make clients feel when they walk through our doors will enhance their entire experience with us. As personal care service professionals, it is important to make our clients feel welcomed and comfortable. Our clients are often faced with feeling vulnerable as they may have to undress, be fully exposed, or have chosen us to help them overcome an insecurity.
In the time they are with us, we must be able to sense what it is they need from us. Some clients prefer to have a friendly chat, some want to vent, and others want to use this time to decompress and relax. Trust your gut, and do your best to read their cues as to what type of visit they are looking for, but sometimes we have to set the vibe for them.
All staff are expected to greet everyone with a warm and happy smile, and always remain professional at the same time. We are looking to set the tone that we are friendly, happy, and bubbly, but also are professionals and that we can be trusted & we are confidant at what we are doing. Being too serious or having minimal expression can instantly set a more impersonal tone. If you get this right, your client will be hooked for life!
Our goal is to provide a warm, fun, and educational experience for our clients. During facials we are to create a serene, calming, and most relaxing zen experience possible.
How To Break The Ice
Things you can do or say to get the conversation started:
“How was your weekend? did you do anything special?”
“Do you have any upcoming plans this weekend?”
“ What do you have planned for the rest of your day/evening?”
“ Do you have any trips/events coming up?”
“How have you been since I’ve last seen you?”
Try to remember conversations you’ve had in the past so you can follow up on what was discussed. Perhaps they shared some gossip or news with you. Your client will feel so valued that you remembered something they’ve shared with you (You can leave these notes in their chart to help you remember if you wish)
Please be mindful that during facials it is preferred to keep the conversation to a minimal, unless the client is initiating, but if the client’s vibe is allowing us, our laser treatment should have fun and uplifting conversations.
Tip: Play some music during a laser session to cut the awkward silence. Go to whatever radio Chanel they prefer and hit live stream
