Towels on beds
Must be flipped if dry (one use per side), or removed if wet even if the opposite side was not used
Laser Handpiece
Remove all gel entirely- a wet towel does this best
Heavily spray Kleenex folded in a square with 70% alcohol
Wipe down handpiece
Mould & keep wet Kleenex on tip of handpiece
Laser Spatula & Tray
Removal all gel entirely
Spray spatula & Tray with 70% alochol
Laser Goggles
Thoroughly Wash with hot soapy water ONLY, with the soft side of the sponge paying close attention to the inside
Block out goggles can be sprayed with 70% alcohol
Microneedling Pen
Thoroughly wipe down with surface cleaner including in the holder, all wires, and control box. Also wipe down work station and any touched surfaces
Dermaplane spatula & extractor tool
Thoroughly wipe down with surface cleaner
Sponges
Soak and wash with hot soapy water, leave out to dry. Once dry, place in container and soak in 70% alcohol

Reprocessing
According to public health our reprocessing station (in kitchen) should have a tray with dirty items on the left side, and a tray with clean items on the right side.
Full sanitation & disinfection with 70% alcohol occurs within 20 mins
